Merry Christmas Shnook!
Dearest Shnook,
Looking back on this year, I think it’s safe to say it’s been particularly well stocked with both great challenges and great adventures! It’s hard to believe that our life this time last year was spent mostly in a 700-sq-ft box in the sky - and now, while we find ourselves in a place we’d have considered the middle of fucking nowhere a few years ago, we’ve made it the most special-little-somewhere. It’s our warm and comfortable home, our meeting place for friends and family, our place for work and inspiration, and a home base for endless adventures as we continue to explore the wonderland around us.
For the first time this year (or perhaps, most significantly), we’ve had actual disagreements about certain aspects of our life. We’ve been so lucky to have gone so many years without having to compromise with one another. Personally, I think if our wedding vows could teach us anything, it’s that we really are two individuals with our own hopes and dreams, and that the defining trait of our marriage will be complimenting one another. With each disagreement we’ve had, I feel that we’ve become better at the art of the compromise, and (while not seeming like it in the moment) each one has brought us closer together, as well as a little closer to our inner selves as we consider what’s really important. Simply, It’s yet another chapter in our grand adventure.
I absolutely love adventuring with you, and I can’t wait to continue in the new year. To celebrate, I have some adventures in mind to keep us active, and to fill our souls (and bellies). Can’t wait to enjoy them with you!
All of my love,
Stefi

Part 2:
Que le spectacle commence!
A Christmas unveiling of our anniversary celebration: on Saturday February 12th, you and are going for dinner and a big show!
We’ll begin with an elegant dining experience eat Café Boulud, followed by an inspirational book-turned-play by a well known Canadian author at the CAA Theatre.
